Favorite Pins Friday

I am linking up with Cara from First Grade Parade for her Favorite Pins Linky Party!

1.  The first pin I found was ordinary cans that had been turned into pen pots.  They took scrapbook paper and mod podged it to a regular old can. How cute would these be in an office??

2.  I think this little chair would be perfect in my classroom.  It would match my color scheme and would be awesome to have in a reading center.
3.  My third pin would come in handy in my kitchen. My hubs is always telling me if I planned more meals then we probably would not eat out so much. I found this on a DIY blog.  This is a great idea and would be cute in a kitchen.
4.  This is home made sidewalk paint.   I think this would be fun to use at home or at school.
5.  I thought this was such a great idea.  It was pinned from ilovemyclassroom.blogspot.com.  It is group writing notebooks.  The kids would love to go back at the end of the year and see what each other had written.
6.  My last pin is from another DIY blog.  I know Halloween is a ways off, but I thought this would be so cute to have in my house.  You could either paint the words or cut them on vinyl with a Cameo or Cricut.
Well, that about wraps up my favorite pins for this week!  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

I love the group notebook writing idea. I've seen that on Pinterest too and am hoping to add it to my literacy stations. Love your pins!

Jamie! Thanks for following! I've signed up to follow your blog as well – I adore the look of your blog 🙂

My co-worker across the hallway did the group writing journals last year and she raved about them! She said the kids really enjoyed writing in them and it was something the speedy kids could work on while others were finishing up their pieces in workshop. She said she can't wait to see them fill up over the new few years. I know it's something I also want to try out this coming year! I can't wait!

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hog’s Day. I can’t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear🤣but it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hog’s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. You’re welcome!😉 ... See MoreSee Less
