So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hogโs Day. I canโt be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear๐คฃbut it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hogโs Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. Youโre welcome!๐ ... One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this ๐๐ป bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.
Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY

Hey Jamie! It's me, Natalie from The Polka Dotted Chirp! Your blog is ADORABLE! I completely understand when you say that our blogs may get neglected when school starts! It is so hectic at the beginning of every year! I must say, your blog is so cute and I love THE POLKA DOTS! I am your newest follower!

I'm getting ready to do a unit on maps and map skills this week. I think I need to find the book Me on the Map and try out your activity! Great idea!!
It turns out really cute and the kids had fun drawing it out and putting it together.
