So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hogโs Day. I canโt be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear๐คฃbut it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hogโs Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. Youโre welcome!๐ ... One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this ๐๐ป bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.
Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY

We have some of the same things on our lists! I agree with what you said at the end of your post about just relaxing and enjoying the little things. As teachers, we are on auto-pilot all school year long. I know that I am guilty of trying to do the same thing in the summer, when I should really just slow down and BREATHE and be thankful to have some time off. Thanks for stopping by my blog too ๐

OH I love the idea of farmers markets! We've got a few and I would love to start eating healthier – what a better place to start than a fresh farmers market!! I hope you have a fantastic summer & get to accomplish everything from your list ๐

Your list sounds so much like mine- except I do not have children at home anymore! I do plan to read a lot- recommendation for you: "And the Mountains Echoed" by Khoseini. It's beautifully written as are all his books. As for exercise I got up this morning and walked- before coffee! I feel great about it!

Teachers Are Terrific!
You are going to have so much fun again on your trip to Destin. The weather has been beautiful around here lately. You guys should make a trip to Panama City Beach if you have time. They opened a Dave & Buster's at Pier Park yesterday. There are also some amusement park rides out there too. It's less than a 45 minute ride from Destin. I always enjoy the ride through 30-A.

The time you get to spend at the lake sounds divine!! We went to Destin two summers ago! Those white sand beaches… Absolutely beautiful! Have fun!
