Sunday Scoop, Sunday Circular, and tsu (A New Way to Connect)

Welcome friends!  I am doing a few link ups and then I am sharing some really cool news with you about a new social site.  So please hang tight to the end!!!
Up first, I am linking up with All Things Apple in Second for her weekly Sunday Savings Party.  This is my first time to link up and I am offering my Thanksgiving Literacy Activities set 50% off!   Included in this set are activities that cover contractions, sentence scramble, common & proper nouns, main idea with supporting details, guide words, and 2 writing prompts.   All of the activities are themed around Thanksgiving.  I always use this set in my small group setting, but it could be used as a whole class as well.  Be sure to stop by my TPT shop and check it out.
{This show a small preview of what is included}
Up next, I am linking up with Teaching Trio for Sunday Scoop!!  I don’t know about you guys, but October is always a hectic month for me!  I am ready for November to come so things will slow down a bit.
Now on to my last, but not least thing!!  Have you heard of the new social site called tsu (pronounced sue)???  Well Second Grade is Out of this World was the first to introduce it to me and after reading up on it I think I really may like it { a lot}!!  It has a Facebook, Instagram, Pintrest vibe kinda all rolled into one.  But here is the really neat part, you can earn money just for posting stuff. That’s right… you can earn money just for posting your everyday stuff like you do on Facebook or Instagram.  But the only thing is, in order to join you have to be invited by someone (the Pintrest Vibe).  No worries it is totally free and I promise once you sign on you will love it.  As a matter of fact when I started playing with it, I found myself liking it better than Facebook (oh no .. did I just hear myself right).
I want all of you to have a chance to join, so here is your personal invite.  Visit tsu.co, you will need a code when you sign on:  click HERE for the code(just click, copy, and paste).  It is that easy.  Be sure to visit Second Grade is Out of the World and follow Hiliary too!
Now you may be asking how can I earn money by doing this, well Hiliary really breaks it down for you on her blog post (click to read it here), but basically it is like this:
Tsū’s algorithm automatically tracks, measures, and distributes revenue to the appropriate user and their family tree. At a high level, 90% of revenues are distributed to users. To maintain the platform, tsū receives 10%. To see how this breaks down, let’s take a look at 4 users, all with varying start dates on tsū.

User A invites user B, who invites user C, who invites user D
Part 1
– $100 of earned revenue is generated based on the content user D shared (photos, videos, status updates, etc.)
Part 2
– 90% of earned revenue go to the users. In this case, $90 of the $100 is shared with all the users.
– tsū takes 10% of the $100 for platform fees. In this case $10.
Part 3
– User D, the original content creator takes 50% of the $90. In this case, $45.
– User C gets 33.3% (1/3) of the original $90 generated. In this case, $29.70
– User B gets 11.1% (1/3 of 1/3 = 1/9) of the original $90 generated. In this case $9.99
– User A gets 3.70% (1/3 of 1/3 of 1/3 = 1/27) of the original $90 generated. In this case $3.33

– This is what we call the rule of infinite thirds”
So why not join???  It is totally free and no (in case your wondering) you are not going to get really super rich, but why not earn a few extra dollars doing what we all do anyways – right??  What do you have to lose?  So come on and join me on the tsu journey!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Have a great week!

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hog’s Day. I can’t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear🤣but it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hog’s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. You’re welcome!😉 ... See MoreSee Less

One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
