Description

This Thanksgiving Literacy Centers resource has  5 HANDS ON ENGAGING LITERACY CENTERS to use in your classroom. The games and activities included are all Thanksgiving themed. Each comes with instructions, cards needed, and recording sheets. The activities can be played individually, several players, or small groups.
The following is included in this Thanksgiving Literacy Center Resource:

● Thanksgiving Sentence Scramble

● Pilgrim Common or Proper Noun Sort
There are 18 Pilgrim themed cards. The student(s) sort the cards based on proper or common nouns. Then record answers on recording sheet.

● Thanksgiving Main Idea and Supporting Details

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hog’s Day. I can’t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear🤣but it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hog’s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. You’re welcome!😉 ... See MoreSee Less

One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
