Monday Made It

Whew, have I been busy.  I have all these little task going on since the beginning of the year.  I work a little hear and a little there.  Well this weekend the hubs had to work so the girls and I just hung out around the house all weekend.  With the weather being pretty nice around here the girls played outside most of the weekend with all the neighborhood kids {this is the number one reason why I love my neighborhood}.  So I was able to finish up several looming projects.  I feel so much better to have some of my projects completed.  I feel like I have accomplished some really big task.  I have really worked hard and put in long hours here and there.
Up first, I wanted to show my Pumpkin Reports craftivity that I made for my class this year.   It turned out so cute, that I put it in my TpT shop.  I finished this little activity up about two weeks ago.  I can’t wait to see all the pumpkins once they start flowing in.

Next up, I finally finished a Christmas digital paper pack.  I think it turned out really cute.  I was glad to get it finished because I know many people start working on Christmas ideas way before December.
Last,  I finished up my Thanksgiving Literacy Activity set.  There is a lot of great activities in here.  They are geared toward second, third, or fourth grade.  But really could be used in some of the higher levels in first and lower levels in fifth.  I can’t wait to use these in my small group setting.  My class loves when I bring in quick little games/activities that reinforce skills.  My favorite in this groups is the main idea with supporting details.  I have 6 short different passages {all related to Thanksgiving}.  They have to identify the main idea and give a supporting detail from the story.

Here is a picture with just a few of the activities included.

I also wanted to show off my Halloween themed Literacy set too.   I have had this one made for a while, but with Halloween around the corner what a fun way to reinforce skills.
As always thanks for taking a peek.  I can’t wait to see all the great thing you have made.  I {heart} comments and followers!  I can’t wait to hear from you!

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hog’s Day. I can’t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear🤣but it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hog’s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. You’re welcome!😉 ... See MoreSee Less

One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
