I was sitting in our faculty meeting the other day and one of the speakers mentioned “Google Apps”. I have heard a few people talk about Google Apps before but I never really knew there was a difference. When I usually buy an App I go through iTunes/Apple. Is their a big difference between the two?? Also, I am wondering can you run Google Apps on and iPad or Mac Computer??
The reason I need your help with this is because the speaker said that we need to start getting ready to incorporate Google Apps into the classroom. I know there are a ton of great Apps through Apple that can be used in the classroom. Are Google Apps better or is it a matter of preference? I asked a few coworkers but they were not to sure either.
If you can offer any insight into this, I would be so happy. I would love to hear which do you prefer.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. I can’t wait to find out what all the buzz is about!!

I use Google Chrome as my web browser. When you log into your account, you can add Google Apps through their store. There are a lot of great free apps out there as well as Google Apps for Education. Now when I click on Chrome, my apps automatically show up and keep me from having to type in a web address every time. Your Google apps will load wherever you are logged in on any computer. You can also click on your favorites on your favorite bar. They too will transfer to wherever you are…on any computer with internet, if you are logged into your Google account.
