Description

We’re All Wonders is the picture book version for young readers of the best seller Wonder by R.J. Palacio. This book companion resource is great to use to incorporate discussion questions, vocabulary, and writing prompts all while teaching your students the value of kindness. This book is geared for FIRST – THIRD GRADE.

● Writing Craft – Students will use a hand drawn version of Auggie’s helmet to describe why they are a “wonder”. This writing prompt will make for a perfect bulletin board or hallway display.

● Response Questions to the Book

● Vocabulary Match

● Bookmarks – The bookmarks include an image of Auggie and the precept used at the end: Look with kindness and you will always find wonder.

● Vocabulary Word Search

● Brag Tags with Kindness Quote

● Kindness Writing Prompt

I hope your students will love this book as much as mine. We’re All Wonders is a perfect read for grades 1-3 and teaches how we can all spread kindness around. Be sure to check out the preview!

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hog’s Day. I can’t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear🤣but it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hog’s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. You’re welcome!😉 ... See MoreSee Less

One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
