A fun Google Classroom resource to teach students about sharks. It can be used during shark week or as shark research project. Students will have fun completing the shark week activities. Google slides can printed out to have a shark printables. Each slide has a task that a student must complete in order to move to the next shark activity

Looking for fun Shark Week activities for kids? This Google Classroom resource is all you need to cover sharks. It is a perfect companion to use for Shark Week or to complete shark research. It can be used during shark week or as shark research project. Each slide contains a formative task that the student must complete. Once they have completed the task they may move on to the next task or slide. This shark project can be completed as a student paced, group, or whole class activity.
 
Each slide contains instructions on what the students are to complete and accomplish before moving forward. Also, included is a set of slides that let the learner research an assigned shark to dive even more deeper into their learning.

Watching a Short Linked Clip and Answering Questions
Reading a Student Friendly Article and Answering Questions
Applying Map Skill to Track Shark Attacks
Learning about the New Jersey Shore 1916 Shark Attacks
Saving Sharks
Reading Passages
Researching an Assigned Shark

One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.
