Favorite Pin Friday – Linky Party

I am linking up with Cara from The First Grade Parade to show off my favorite pins.
I love this pin, because I do believe in supporting America.   I am not saying that I don’t buy stuff from China or other countries because I do.   But I do try to be a little more conscious when buying stuff.   The segment on ABC news, “Made In America” is very inspiring and encourging to try and buy American products when you can.   I saw this pin shortly after I had watched a segment on the news and it made me think of all the stuff that I have in my house that is not from America.   Then I thought if I just tried to buy maybe a handful of things a year when I am out and about shopping that are made in America what a difference just a little bit can make.
I love this pin I found.   We have all had students that can drive you “bonkers”.   This subway art has neat ideas on to handle all those rowdy students.  I also like this website.  This designer comes up with all kinds of neat little satistics and ways to make things happen in your class.
This was a freebie that I repinned from another teacher.   It is off of a fellow bloggers TpT store.   It is from allstudentscanshine.blogspot.com.  After I pinned it, I went to the store and downloaded these cute little tags.  I would always put them on the kids desk Friday afternoon.   When they returned on Monday they would get so excited to see what they had.  It really encourage the class to try and keep their desk cleaner.
I love, love, love this pin.  I repinned it from 2ndgradesandcastle.blogspot.com.   We are not really sure who wrote this prayer, but when I read it it reminds me of why I teach.
I don’t really have any explanation why I pinned this, besides the fact I just love it.   I love the old home feel to the picture.   It looks like it would be such a relaxing place to go and visit.  I also love the blue and pink barn.  The colors just go together.  It looks like a happy place.
These are my top five pins of the week.  Thanks for taking a peek.   Remember you can follow me on Pinterest by clicking on my “P” button.   Also don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’!!!

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hogโ€™s Day. I canโ€™t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear๐Ÿคฃbut it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hogโ€™s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. Youโ€™re welcome!๐Ÿ˜‰ ... One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
