Up first – This past weekend we traveled to Dallas, Texas {Dallas is only about 2 1/2 hours away from me} for my daughters performing dance group. She is in the elementary performing group and they had a big show at Six Flags, and boy was she excited. This is the first time the girls had ever been to Six Flags. They did so well with all the rides {I may have a couple adradeline junkies on my hands}. We heard squeals and screams in the car when they saw this, and yes they rode it.

This is the entire performing group. A lot of girls – right? Mine is in the fourth grade performing group, but this is the entire group grades 4 -12. The studio we attend also has classes for younger girls, but you can’t be in performing/travel group until 4th grade and you have to try out for a spot.
While we were in Dallas we decided to make a weekend of it and do a little shopping and dining. I took the girls to the Rainforest Cafe’ {this is about their 10th time to go, but they love it the same every time}.
What would the Rainforest Cafe be like without a balloon parrot??
I leave you with this last pick of my class. They earned a dance party in class. It cracks me up to watch kids dance. There is no shame or embarrassment at all!!!
