Five for Friday

Here is a little peek into my world/thoughts for 5 randomness things on this TGIF!!!!!

I sure that all teachers of small children can relate to this – right????
Ok, I know it is not officially October yet, but I get so excited because Halloween runs a close race to Christmas as being one of my favorite holidays.   There are so many cute ideas floating around for Halloween.  One of my friends posted this on Facebook, and I think it so cute {and looks yummy too}!!!
While I am on a little Halloween kick …  I finally finished this little product.  So proud of it.  Turned out really cute and filled with fun activities here is a little peek of just a few of the things included {5 hands on Literacy centers and 2 writing prompts}!!!
Anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love Social Studies and Science.  This week we squeezed in a little landforms {sorry about the blurred image – someone needs to work on the camera focusing skills}!!!

We also played a game that covered skip counting and repeated addition.  Oh, how excited they get when they realized repeated addition is  basically multiplication.

Well, that about sums up my Five for Friday!   Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!  I can’t wait to see what you week had in store for you!  I {heart} comments and followers!!

That Halloween centers bundle is absolutely adorable! I love it! ๐Ÿ™‚ Halloween is the same for me- a close second to my beloved Christmas ๐Ÿ™‚ My husband and I got all out for decorating for both.. The kids on our neighborhood love it! I hope to get some Fall/Halloween crafts done this weekend! Thanks for sharing! I loved reading it!

This is how many students act in 2026. Teachers will identify with every single one of the students I portray here. Funny teacher video.

So what is this you might ask? It is my last minute version of a craft for Ground Hogโ€™s Day. I canโ€™t be the only one who decides the day of to do a craft and wing it, right? It looks more like a bear๐Ÿคฃbut it was suppose to be a groundhog with facts about Ground Hogโ€™s Day. No directions required just pull construction paper and glue. Youโ€™re welcome!๐Ÿ˜‰ ... One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.

Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY
