Love the sounds of kids playing in the background. There is a lot of squeals and giggles.
Loving:
That the Christmas season has finally arrived. I love all the wonderful smells Christmas brings. Like the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree and goodies baking.
Thinking:
I can’t wait to do some fun activities with my own two girls and my students. I have a list a mile long of things I want to make or do with them.
Wanting & Needing:
My wanting and needing go hand and hand. I normally am a little ahead of the game on Christmas shopping. But this year I feel like I am running behind.
Favorite Tradition:
Every Christmas Eve we all go to my mom’s house and have a Christmas Eve Brunch. It is my favorite thing to do. All the grand kids are there and there is a lot of excitement in the air. We serve foods such as gumbo, beignets, Quiche, and etc…. No worries I have the traditional dinner on Christmas Day. Then after brunch we open and exchange gifts with one another. It is so much fun. And since it is a brunch there is plenty of time to relax afterwards.
