Five for Friday

with Jamie
One of my most favorite boards in my classroom is this 👇🏻 bulletin board right here! This is how it looks at the beginning of each year. As the year progresses I hang student art work and writings up. At the end of the year I take the work off and it is in order, neat and tidy, and students now have a portfolio of their best 2nd grade work. The bright folders I use to match my classroom theme are cut in half and the sign is just typed up in PowerPoint.
Here is a link to the bright file folders I used on this board (I use the extra folders to keep stuff stored in my filing cabinet): amzn.to/4mS2GhY

Looks like you had such a great week! Make sure you don't forget to show pictures of your kiddos and all of the great V-Day things that you have planned. I'm trying to cook up some of my own surprises as well! I just love celebrating this holiday with them!

I'm glad I found your blog! I'm also a 2nd grade teacher and blogging newbie. I'm your newest follower!
Hi Jamie. That's exciting for your daughter with her Social Studies project and your student with her poetry. It has been an exciting week. What is Safety Town? Is it a one of a kind place? Sounds like a very practical, educational field trip.
How exciting for your daughter! Best of luck to her! I remember when I won my class science fair and got to compete in the school fair…it was exciting! Have a fun Valentine week!
